CASE NO 18/9 SUCCESS BEFORE RELEASE

The fortunes of some of the Kannada films are like that. The content speaks. The super hit in Tamil ‘Vazakku En 18/9’ of director Balaji Shakthi Vel has given good TV rights for Kannada remake ‘Case No.18/9’.

Suvarana Satellite channel after watching the film and the impact it is going to create after release has acquired the rights of the film by paying a huge sum of Rs.1,50,80000 – This is after TDS deduction. That means a few more lakhs addition to it.

However the ‘Dilkush’ team of ‘Case No.18/9’ addressed the media and expressed happiness on this occasion. Producer Praveen Kumar Shetty feels some change is going to happen from this film. Mohan says the Kannada version is better than the original. Sadananda Shetty is very confident of people liking this film; Kanthi Shetty feels this would be a very good film for the family audience.

Mahesh Rao not worried about a original or remake in his profession says it is with great difficulty the film was made and major difficulty was on Niranjan head he says. The censor after watching given very good verdict he says. Meanwhile from this remake film Mahesh Rao got another remake ‘Engeyum Eppodum’ for Kannada. This case No 18/9’ had a bench mark and making remake is difficult than original film he says.

Mahesh Rao on the comment passed by Mohan for not giving room to another pair of the film said the distributor fixed should answer this question.

Sabha Kumar is thrilled with the work done. Kari Subbu actor and studio owner said it is two of Balaji Shakthi Vel original and remake films processed in his studio.

The struggle of the role was explained by actor Niranjan, Sindhu Lokanath, Shwetha Shetty. Niranjan lost 10 kilos and Shwetha four kilos for this film. Abhisekh is in playboy role in his debut film.
